Organisation : Buddhist Discussion Centre Australia

Location : Melbourne (Upwey Victoria)

Time required : The nature of this role is that the volunteers time requirements will vary from week to week depending on what needs to be done to our websites. Some weeks nothing may be needed whilst occasionally there could be 4 or 5 hours work required for some tasks. As the websites have already been built the ongoing maintenance work could average a few hours per week.

About the role

We have two websites which were created by a professional website developer which need to be regularly updated and new webpages, features and designs will be added from time to time. Our websites were created using Avada child theme for WordPress. It includes standard plug ins. Our organisation is an Associated Institution of the World Buddhist University and has a significant online presence.

The Buddhist Discussion Centre Australia is a volunteer not for profit organisation located in Melbourne’s outer Eastern region. Our activities include self-help programs, classes and courses in Buddhism, collaboration with local and overseas organisations, and contributing to our local Buddhist community in Victoria.

The organisation is an Associated Institution of the World Buddhist University and a member of the Buddhist Council of Victoria
