About the role
Play a vital role in supporting the team to establish and strengthen awareness and community engagement for our programs and initiatives.
This dynamic role will immerse you in various projects, providing the opportunity to experience first hand the impactful work undertaken by the Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL) to empower and support those experiencing disadvantage. Beyond exposure to our programs and initiatives, this role offers numerous opportunities to be a social justice advocate and amplify the voices of those who need it most whilst supporting a team dedicated to spotlighting and addressing the profound impact of disadvantage within our communities.
What will I do?
In this role you will be part of a team who:
- Support the creation and editing of marketing content including collateral (flyers, posters, newsletters, postcards), copywriting and other items as needed to promote different initiatives across a variety of community programs.
- Assist with conducting market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities.
- Compile and analyse market research data to provide insights for marketing strategies.
- Assist in the development and delivery of marketing campaigns across various channels This may include co-designing email templates and marketing collateral, supporting the development of social media schedules, and assisting the team to draft a tactical plan.
- Use Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor to set up e-newsletter templates for different programs.
- Source images that adhere to our brand guidelines
