About the role

About the position

Ahisaun Foundation in Aimutin, Dili, works to educate, promote awareness and advocate for the rights of people with disability in Timor-Leste. It provides people with disability in remote areas training in IT, business, music, handicrafts and practical skills. The success of Ahisaun’s programs means the organisation is expanding. To assist and maintain this growth, Ahisaun require a volunteer Business and Networking mentor to train the local staff.

Palms Australia is looking for a long-term volunteer with solid business and networking experience to spend two years at Ahisaun. Building on the solid foundation in place and the skills of its personnel, the volunteer will help establish a network of supportive partnerships for the organisation and provide a structure for Ahisaun to maintain donor relationships and manage grant applications. The volunteer will also support the Director in planning the expansion of Ahisaun’s programs for people with disability in Dili and into the rural District of Ermera.
