About the role
What is the MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer?
Two days. 200 kilometres. Spoke to spoke and pedal to pedal. The MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer® benefiting Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research is for anyone who wants to challenge themselves for a great cause.
Why volunteering with us?
Volunteers contribute their time, skills and creativity to bring The MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer® to fruition. Volunteers help at outreach events and fundraisers, support at training rides and help us to produce the powerful Opening Ceremony and finish line. Volunteering is a great way to make a difference whether you are a registered participant or not.
What will be my role?
Check-In Team – Assists the participants who have not completed Online Check-In; including providing them with an opportunity to turn in additional donations, ensuring their fundraising minimum is met, providing their packet of information and informing them of what to do with their Wristband and Bike Tags.
Shifts:
Friday 12th of October, 2pm – 6.30pm
And/or
Saturday 13th of October, 5am – 9am
