About the role
We primarily care for kangaroo joeys, rehabilitating them for release back into the wild. This involves a lot of cleaning up. We won’t lie, it isn’t glamourous. Picking up poop from the ground (which doesn’t smell as they’re very efficient animals), laundry, bottle washing and sterilising, changing blankets and pouches. The bonus is the magic of being around some incredible animals, and if you gain their trust, perhaps some bottle feeding too.
