How would you like to help someone to experience the holiday they have always dreamed of but could never achieve……?

Imagine assisting someone to have their first holiday away from their parents…… pretty cool hey?

FSG are looking for Travel Buddy’s who are interested in becoming part of a wider Buddy movement with a range of exciting and interesting roles to consider, and all with a view to assisting people to experience wonderful change and progression in their lives.

A travel Buddy will take a short or long holiday with a person who may experience a minor disability and need prompting to purchase the correct ticket, or remember their sun cream, or may form part of a team with paid care staff to help create a wonderful holiday experience for someone who is experiencing higher needs.

Expenses are paid for accommodation, flights, and tickets, and the volunteer will only need to provide their own food.

There will be a matching process, during which you will be offered the chance to meet your possible companion, and see if a holiday would be enjoyable for both of you.

Comprehensive FREE training is offered to all FSG volunteers, and covers a range of subjects from our basic induction, to walking alongside people who experience a disability, and our very own Human Rights in Practise.
