At SAF, we are proud to also offer grants and merit based scholarships to assist with the cost associated with tuition fee and study trips. The Australian Government Department of Education and Training has engaged the Skilling Australia Foundation to assist local stakeholders in working together to implement P-TECH learning programs at all 14 P-TECH pilot sites.

About the role

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced writer who enjoys the process of grant application.

In this role, you will be able to bring your creative, innovative, collaborative and influential skills to help grant applications be efficient and successful.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the grant application process from end to end

• Preparing, writing, and submission of grants and tender applications

• Working with a diverse group of stakeholders including Senior Management to determine final responses

• Providing recommendations and solutions for grant proposals and tenders

• Research and report writing

• General Foundation administration

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Proven experience in a similar role involving grants applications

• Proven experience developing programs and concepts

• Highly developed communication skills including the ability to develop succinct, persuasive and accurate content

• Provide feedback and advice on grant applications and assist in identifying new funding opportunities

• Ability to build strong professional relationships internally and externally with stakeholders at various levels

• Demonstrate a high level of organisational and time management skills

• Proven ability to work within strict dead lines

• Results focussed, a self-starter and have the ability to complete work with minimal supervision
