Our partner seeks to inspire, raise awareness and educate the Guatemalan population to live a full life, with peace and greater well-being, thus contributing to the global culture of sustainable peace. They address the Guatemalan at-risk population, providing courses and activities in schools and educational centres.

Your role will begin with an internal review of their current financial procedures, systems and controls. You will be assessing the capacity and resources of the team and organisation and making recommendations for best practice. You will also be improving and introducing new procedures as needed to further strengthen and formalise their structure, training staff to build their capacity.

As the organization grows, they will need to develop stronger systems and be able to properly report to donors. Our partner asked for particular support in developing their annual report and budgets, and as they have income generating activities, would benefit from better understanding financial planning and projections.
