About the role
The Multiple Sclerosis Queensland (MS Queensland) is a leading not-for-profit organisation, based in Brisbane, and providing specialised services to benefit people living with MS and other chronic progressive neurological conditions (PND) throughout Queensland. We exist to help people living with MS to get the best out of life; to advocate for change and to search for a cure.
The MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride has been part of the Brisbane cycling scene for over two decades. This ride is more than just a fun day out on the bike; our amazing riders raise money to help change the lives of the thousands of Australians living with multiple sclerosis (MS).
This year, on Sunday 17 June, thousands of riders will be slipping into the lycra to take part in the annual ride to fight MS. We would love to see you play a part in this worthy fundraising event. So, come and volunteer with us and help us raise critical funds to help people living with MS to get the best out of life.
MS Queensland is seeking the support of numerous volunteers in the role of Course Marshal in various locations along the routes between Brisbane and the Bayside areas. Course marshals are essential in ensuring our riders are kept safe on the roads and stay on the right track. They are also important to keep our riders motivated along the route.
