Our partner, a UK-based NGO that has a longstanding history in responding to infectious and tropical diseases, is seeking a pro bono internal auditor for its Nigeria country programme. In Nigeria, the organisation has been working in partnership with the Ministry of Health and other local organisations, to create three targetted interventions against infectious diseases in the country.

You will be working alongside the Internal Audit Manager, and will be given specific areas of the audit to focus on. The audit is expected to cover a broad range of risk areas, including governance, legislation and regulatory compliance, programme management, partner management, donor management, human resources, health and safety, finance, operations including procurement, stock and asset management, vehicle management, security management including safeguarding, and information systems.

In addition to undertaking the audit, you will be involved in providing feedback, attending a debrief session and discussing potential issues and findings with senior management.
