About the role
Oxfam Trailwalker sees teams of 4 challenge themselves physically and mentally as they walk (or run) 100km of bush trails in 48hours to raise money for Oxfam’s vital work.
Help this year’s walkers fight poverty by becoming an event volunteer at the Oxfam Trailwalker Perth from 22-24 September 2017. You can volunteer as an individual, a bunch of friends or as a family.
We need general event volunteers for a variety of roles. Whether you want to get out and mark the trail, help get walkers ready for the next leg at a checkpoint, or become a trail marshal and get everyone through safely – we need your help. We’re also looking for physiotherapists, podiatrists and massage professionals, as well as students in 3rd and 4th year of their studies in these fields to soothe our walkers’ weary bodies and tired feet.
One person in three in the world lives in poverty. But we know that you see a future in which no one does. Changing the world starts here.
VOLUNTEER NOW You can browse available roles/shifts and register at: https://trailwalker.oxfam.org.au/volunteer/register-perth/
Or email us at twvolsperth@oxfam.org.au or call us on 02 8204 3980 and we will happily chat with you about a rewarding volunteer shift that’s just right for you.
We promise our volunteers a great and rewarding experience, and the knowledge that their time will be helping fight poverty around the world.
We hope to see you on the trail!
