Time required : The role of the Treasurer requires an estimated commitment of: Bi-monthly hourly meetings (6-30pm to 7-30pm) with more frequent meetings around events, availability to liaise with fundraising events and ongoing business as pertinent to the treasurers role. This would be as little as 1 hour, up to 4 hours per month at busy times. Time Required: Minimum of 2 years to journey with us.

Be part of an amazing community organisation, the Planetary Healing Artists Association of Australia Inc, involved in the Arts, Culture, and Inter-spiritual activities that works towards world peace and harmony in the world today.
The Treasurer is a member of the Management Committee. The role of the Treasurer is of a skilled volunteer for the Planetary Healing Artists Association of Australia committee in ensuring that effective financial systems and procedures are in place, are in line with best practice, and to maintain the budget to meet financial reporting for the Annual General Meeting.
The Planetary Healing Artists Association is a not for profit organisation based in Albert Park, working largely with the community of the City of Port Phillip. Membership extends throughout Melbourne with some members also living internationally. Planetary Healing Artists Association of Australia does exhibitions and events in the community with the aim of promoting world peace, social and environmental sustainability.
Are you able to meet the following requirements?
-Co-signing payments
-Ensure proper records are kept and that effective financial procedures are in place.
-Provide a financial report annually
-Attend monthly or bi-monthly meetings
-Experience in managing grant funding in the non for profit sector or willing to learn.
-Have great communication and interpersonal skills.
-Time, dedication and financial expertise
-Ability to be contacted on an ad hoc basis
-Understanding of financial accounting for not for profit organisations.
Office hours Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 10am – 5pm.
Bi-Monthly meeting first Thursday of the month 6.30-7.30pm.
