UGANDA | Volunteer Accountant @ NGO Helping Children in Slums

Volunteer Accounting Assignments of between 2 weeks and 6 months form part of our ongoing strategy to build the financial management capacity of charities in over 50 countries.

Our partner is a Ugandan NGO working to safeguard and provide for vulnerable children and their families living in urban slums in Kampala, Uganda. They provide support through education, health and livelihoods initiatives, with a focus on helping children with disabilities.

They are now ready to start using QuickBooks in the new set up from January 2020. Although as they start to use it they are expecting some teething issues and would like a volunteer to review their progress after a few months. You will be reviewing QuickBooks to check the accounts are complete, without errors and that they are using the system well. You will be providing further training as needed on using the new classes system.
