We work closely with other service providers to ensure our clients access the appropriate support they need to flourish post Service. We harness technology to work across Australia.

Veterans Centre Australia runs a structured and mentored volunteer program, giving you an identified pathway to becoming either a Wellbeing Ambassador, a Wellbeing Volunteer or a Fundraising Ambassador. Volunteers work and support the VCA staff in maximising the opportunities for positive outcomes for Veterans and their families. Our volunteers play a crucial role and bring their own expertise -so we all learn from each other. We know that people choose to volunteer with VCA for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the Veteran community or make a difference to the Veterans and families around them. It is an opportunity to develop new skills and build on existing experience and knowledge. Whatever the reason, it can be both challenging and rewarding.

If you Volunteer with VCA, you will have a real opportunity to make a difference to the lives of Veterans and their families, to learn new skills and gain qualifications on our Wellbeing Program. And we want to learn from and utilise the skills you bring. Whether you are starting out in your career or winding down – what you bring as a person is valuable and can make a difference in a Veterans future.

If you are interested and would like to know more please contact Jeanette Davies, Community Engagement Coordinator – jeanetted@veteranscentre.org.au and we can arrange to have an initial informal discussion.
