About the role
Digital technology is shaping our epoch, but accessibility barriers and other factors are preventing many people from fully joining in this transformation of our society.
The Digital Gap Initiative (DGI), is an all-volunteer organisation committed to working towards a more inclusive digital age.
DGI’s strategy for achieving this goal is to advocate for legislative reforms and other systemic pathways for effective social change.
DGI also seeks to encourage private sector social responsibility and innovation in this sphere.
DGI is incorporated as a Not-for-profit Company Limited by Guarantee ,and registered as a Charity with the ACNC.
Currently DGI receives no funding and has no independent source of income.
We seek a volunteer to act as our grants officer , so we can pursue grant opportunities.
There is some immediacy to this reach out
This role would suit someone who perhaps is retired or has some free time to volunteer; who has grant administration experience ; who has some understanding of ACNC requirements; who is able to commit to the role ; and who preferably is supportive of our mission.
DGI has a website but it is currently under redevelopment.
