Be part of an international event, volunteer for The Sydney International Rowing Regatta, held from 27th March – 02nd April 2017! It’s a great chance to get outdoors, meet some amazing people and see some of the best rowers including the Australian Olympians after their amazing performance in Rio!

Job Details

Event Information
The Sydney International Rowing Regatta (SIRR) is Australia’s premier rowing event. It will be back again Sydney from the 27th March to the 2nd April 2017 for another year of quality rowing.
You will be treated to a showcase of some of the best Australian rowing and para-rowing, be it in the Australian Open Rowing Championships, Australian Open Schools Rowing Championships and the King’s and Queen’s Cups Interstate Regatta.

It’s a great chance to get outdoors, meet some amazing people and see some of the best rowers, particularly the Australian Olympians after their amazing performance in Rio.

Dates: 27thMarch – 2nd April 2017
Location: Sydney International Regatta Centre (SIRC), Old Castlereagh Road, Castlereagh, NSW 2749 (Penrith Area) Free shuttle available from and to Penrith Train station

Shifts: Early morning, morning and afternoon shifts available!

Volunteer Roles

We have various positions available including:
• Bow number Officer
• Media Assistant
• Presentation Assistant
• Regatta Secretary Assistant
• Site Office Assistant
• Spectator Services
• Timekeepers
• Victory Pontoon Assistant

Of course with such important roles come a number of great volunteer benefits:
• Official volunteer uniform including shirt, cap, drink bottle and bag
• Food and drink and free parking during your shift
• The experience of volunteering at an amazing event
• Opportunity to see Australia’s best rowers in action
• Thank you function (Sunday 2 April)
• Volunteer certificate and reference letter as required
• Free entry to watch the Regatta on the day you’re volunteering

7. You can then view all the available shift time and choose the ones you’d like
