Salary : $72,075.00 per annum based on qualifications and experience to be confirmed, including 9.5% superannuation. Salary packaging up to $15,900.00 is available. Meal Entertainment is an additional benefit. Salary is calculated on 60.8 hours per fortnight.

About the role

This position provides the successful applicant with an opportunity to develop a strong supportive partnership with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This executive level management position has one direct report. It requires a ‘hands on’ approach in all aspects. The role has a strong focus on the external environment, driving and nurturing relationships and partnerships across multiple sectors.
It is an opportunity to be instrumental in creating new and innovative programs within communities to deliver crucial meaningful services to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Hope Street is committed to the delivery of responsive and meaningful services to young people and our communities working in alignment with the values, philosophy and standards of our organisation.
To succeed with the priorities of the Hope Street Strategic Plan, the Service Development Manager is to:
• Build upon existing partnerships to ensure they grow and sustain whilst building and identifying opportunities to create new partnerships.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to build Hope Street’s capacity to deliver responsive, flexible and innovative services and community support.
• Establish, nurture and coordinate business relationships/partnerships with philanthropic trusts and foundations.
• Manage the securing of new funding and project manage new initiatives to achieve agreed KPI’s and within budget.
• Monitor and influence the environment external to Hope Street, through active participation and representation to senior officers of government departments, relevant community groups, professional bodies and forums, strategically promoting the work of the organisation in the sector and within the community.
