ABOUT US

Big hART works with individuals and communities to change their social trajectory, by creating art of high artistic merit that engages decision makers on making change at a social policy level.   20+20 assists young women to pursue their aspirations, enhance their abilities and self-entrepreneur their own pathways towards employment, in ways that make a positive difference to their community.  It is a legacy of Project O, which seeks to drive change in rural communities affected by family violence, focused on generational change initiated by young women.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, develop new ones
  • Coordinate a team of local and interstate artists, youth workers, mentors and administration staff
  • Maintain high quality, integrity of process and outcomes
  • Respond to community needs whilst meeting funding requirements
  • Input into project design, evaluation, media and social policy strategies, oversee their implementation
  • Collaborate with other Big hART projects
  • Manage funding partnerships with government, philanthropic and corporate partners, and develop new ones

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT 

You will have a sound understanding of community cultural development principals, management experience in the arts or NFP sector, a broad skill base and be able to work strategically across all levels of these inter-related projects. 

You will:

•  Have strong leadership and facilitation skills 

•  Be collaborative, flexible, pro-active, passionate and entrepreneurial 

•  Have a high level of initiative and the ability to deal with ambiguity
