Relationship Educator

An exciting opportunity currently exists for experienced individuals to join the Penrith Centre as Relationship Educator/ Group Facilitator specifically to run the Taking Responsibility Men’s Behaviour Change Programs. This group is jointly facilitated by a male and a female group leader. The work is suitable for qualified professionals experienced in running group work/education programs working specifically with men who use violence in intimate partner relationships.

The positions are casual and work is dependent upon the group schedule set each term. The successful candidate may be required to work outside of normal office hours (i.e. after 5pm).

About the role

This is a casual position and the successful candidates will have:

• A background & experience with complex, challenging client situations including family and domestic violence and child protection.
• The ability to work casual hours, some week-day after hours and weekend work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability and commitment to work as part of a team.
