About the role
The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Queensland (MS Queensland) is a leading not-for-profit organisation, based in Brisbane, and providing specialised services to benefit people living with MS and other progressive neurological conditions throughout Queensland. We exist to help people living with MS to get the best out of life; to advocate for change and to search for a cure.
The MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride has been part of the Brisbane cycling scene for over two decades. This ride is more than just a fun day out on the bike; our amazing riders raise money to help change the lives of the thousands of Australians living with multiple sclerosis (MS).
This year, on Sunday 18 June, thousands of riders will be slipping into the lycra to take part in the annual ride to fight MS.
MS Queensland is seeking the support of numerous volunteer positions to assist with the completion of various activities that go into ensuring the safe and effective coordination and delivery of the event. If you haven’t already signed up, don’t delay!
Requirements: Ability to stand for a long period of time. Good attention to detail. Good communication skills. Ability to work well with a diverse range of people. Friendly and Helpful.
This event requires the support of numerous volunteering positions. Some of the volunteering positions such as drink station assistant and course marshals will be located along the route.
