About You
We’re looking forward to welcoming a Grants and Impacts Officer to our team. You will be empathetic and philanthropic in nature. A natural storyteller and with a penchant for social enterprise, our Grants and Impacts Officer will be responsible for overseeing and developing the external space for the Foundation, including the website and beyond, across multiple channels to engage the sector and share learnings and intelligence. Crucially you will secure a rare opportunity to gain experience in grantmaking and philanthropic impact measurement, particularly within the growing social enterprise sector. The ideal person will be a dynamic, proactive individual, interested in a career in Philanthropy or the not-for-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a diverse and rewarding role. Below are listed just a few of the responsibilities the ideal person will be accountable for:
- Assist with grant analysis and research, including preparation of grant agreements and other documents
- Improve and maintain the grants database
- Take a lead role in developing a modern and innovative grants process and online functionalities
- Assist the foundation to develop a streamlined process for capturing and measuring the impact of the Foundation’s strategy
- Manage reporting process with key partners
- Assist in the development and management of the external voice of the Foundation including website, annual reports and impact stories;

- Understanding of and/or interest in philanthropic and non-profit sector programs;
- High standard of verbal and written comprehension and communication;
- Natural curiosity and love of learning;
- Flexible, adaptable and comfortable with change;
- Self-directing with initiative;
- Highly organised and methodical with strong attention to detail and process with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively;
- Ability to liaise effectively and develop strong relationships with a variety of organisations and individuals;
- Strong research and analytical skills.
