About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate National Project Manager to join the team in Canberra, on a full-time basis (near to full-time would also be considered).
You will be responsible for leading and managing the national multicultural mental health project. This will involve leading a small team, engaging and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, providing project management advice, leadership and governance, and ensuring any risks and issues associated with the project are identified and effectively managed.
Candidates applying for this role must be experienced project/program managers with the ability to effectively lead and manage national projects. Candidates with experience in multicultural environments and candidates from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
A strong understanding of current issues relevant to the mental health sector, alongside proven experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds will be vital to this role.
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to liaise, engage, and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You will use your demonstrated ability to think strategically to assess issues faced by the project in order to develop and implement effective solutions. You will be highly organised and confident in your ability to manage competing priorities in order to ensure deadlines are met.
