Reporting to the CEO, your mission is to ensure that LDH continues to attract, retain, motivate and develop the best available people to deliver quality services for the animals in its care. You will contribute to strategic planning and head up a small team that provides best practice HR support and service to over 200 staff in diverse programs and roles.
This pivotal role requires demonstrated ability at both strategic and operational levels. You must have the skills to handle industrial and employee relations matters, and the breadth of experience to direct and manage the operational performance of the HR function, including OHS, WorkCover and Organisational Development.
Relevant tertiary qualifications, IR capabilities and proven success at senior management level are essential for this stimulating role. A background in human services, health or animal welfare would be an advantage.
