About the organisation
HFA is the national peak advocacy body which represents people with haemophilia, von Willebrand disease and other rare bleeding disorders through a range of education, advocacy and research activities. HFA is a well-established not for profit organisation with a small professional team. HFA relies on government grants and financial support from individual donors and the corporate sector, and therefore the HFA fundraising & event program is critical to our success. We are based in Malvern East, with plans to move office premises later in 2024.
About the role
The Fundraising & Event Manager will work closely with the Executive Director. HFA is a small team, there is a focus on teamwork and this position will work with other staff across special projects and activities. The position is for 4 days per week, (days are negotiable). Occasional after-hours work is required for events and to attend meetings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain HFA Database
- Plan and manage direct mail appeals
- Trust and Foundation Applications
- Plan and Execute Events
