The National Council of Jewish Women of Australia Victoria Inc is one of Melbourne’s most highly regarded community organisations, working to create a better world for women in both the Jewish and broader communities. Having implemented effective structural and management changes over the past few years, the Board wishes to appoint an innovative and dynamic General Manager to lead the further development and growth of this significant not-for-profit organisation.
Taking the role at this pivotal time, you will work with the President and Board to shape future directions, lead and deliver the strategic plan, oversee day-to-day operations of the organisation and proactively engage with wider communal leadership.
Your principal responsibilities will embrace strategic planning, program
development, fundraising, financial management, staff & volunteer management and marketing & communications.
For this important position you must be experienced in managing an organisation and working with a Board. Demonstrated strengths in program development, as well as contemporary approaches to fundraising, are essential. An understanding of current women’s issues and involvement with the Jewish community at a leadership level would be well regarded.
