ABOUT THE ROLE

Life Education NSW is looking for a Fundraising Manager to come on board and focus on developing and leading a strategic approach to fundraising. Reporting to the CEO and responsible for two direct reports, the Fundraising Manager will develop, drive and grow the fundraising portfolio across fundraising income streams and strategic activities with a specific focus on corporate partnership development.

Responsibilities in this role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Working closely with the CEO to develop, implement and manage the Fundraising Strategic Plan and related initiatives across fundraising with a focus on growing corporate partnerships
  • Building new business partnerships and relationships with current and prospective corporates and philanthropic organisations to provide mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Developing, managing, tracking and exceeding income targets
  • Communicating and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders  to be an active and effective ambassador and advocate of the organisation

To hit the ground running we are seeking a candidate with:

  • Proven experience in growing and overseeing a partnership program for a charity (ideally a minimum 3 years of experience would be preferred)
  • comprehensive background of fundraising experience across a number of portfolios specifically  corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, individual giving, and events
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to represent the CEO and Life Education NSW at external meetings, business opportunities and events
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting (including to the Board) on successful and ongoing fundraising strategies
  • The ability to work in a federated structure and with a variety of different stakeholders
  • Professionalism and a genuine passion for the organisation with an outgoing and vivacious personality
