Australia’s National Research Organisation for Women’s Safety (ANROWS) aspires to be an innovative research organisation with authoritative leadership and high impact to support the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010-2022 (the National Plan). Our mission is to deliver relevant and translatable research evidence which drives policy and practice, leading to a reduction in the levels of violence against women and their children.
ANROWS is seeking a Project Officer (National Community Attitudes towards Violence Against Women Survey, known as NCAS) to assist in the development and delivery of this research project.
The NCAS is based on an integrated approach involving research, knowledge translation and exchange, communications and stakeholder engagement. The Project Officer (NCAS) will provide support to the Manager, NCAS and the Senior Project Officer across a diverse range of activities. These will include research, stakeholder liaison, events planning and communications and knowledge translation and exchange. The Project officer will also have a lead role in supporting project governance and office and administrative systems.
This is a contract position reporting to the Senior Research Officer (NCAS) and located at the ANROWS office in inner Melbourne. The appointment is for the period from September 2016 until 31 December 2018 and is a 0.8 FTE position. Applications close midnight 31 August 2016.
