This established provider of critical health based services assists around 100,000 Australian a year. They have commenced an exciting change program, with a new CEO, a new organisational business plan and a new five-year strategic plan being developed. A pillar to the organisation’s success moving forward will be to engage a talented Head of Corporate Services who can drive the finance, IT and HR functions through this period of consolidation and subsequent growth.

With a turnover of circa $10m, you will be responsible for ensuring confidence in the numbers, and for providing strategic and commercially pragmatic advice and business direction to operational leaders including your team of six. This is an opportune time to take a group that is comfortably ticking over to the next level as you:

• Gain a thorough understanding of the organisations current services and operations
• Assess the structure, capabilities and potential of your team
• Gain an understanding of system performance and opportunities to improve
• Implement process, systems and structural improvements as necessary
• Develop new and effective reports for your leadership peers and Board requirements
• Lead, develop and enhance the performance of your team
• Drive new partnerships and commercial opportunities as identified

This is an exciting opportunity to potentially re-build a function, and indirectly the performance of the entire organisation in conjunction with the CEO. You will need to stay hands-on as the senior finance person, whilst overseeing HR and IT operations.

CPA/CA qualified, success leading an organisation through a growth and change period will be appealing. Whilst not-for-profit experience isn’t essential, the ability to apply your balance of finance and commercial skills gained with a service environment will be important.
