Corporate & Community Relations Executive

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated and results-focused professional to join our team. You will be responsible for building key relationships with the business sector and members of the community to help drive investment in suicide prevention leadership and research, with both a strategic and hands-on emphasis. It is an exciting time to join Suicide Prevention Australia in this role as you will be contributing to success of a game changing initiative in the form of the recently announced first ever national suicide prevention research fund managed by SPA.

Essential

• Experience in developing successful and mutually profitable funding relationships with business sector and community
• Business development and marketing skills
• Networking and negotiation skills
• Experience in project management and monitoring implementation
• Experience in working in a dynamic environment
• Budgeting skills and experience in financial reporting
• Strong technical & administrative skills including CRM
• Ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and strong time management skills

Desirable

• Qualifications in project management
• Previous experience working in mental health and suicide prevention
• A lived experience of suicide or suicidal behaviour
