The Coordinator, Advocacy and Planning is a member of the Quality, Research and Evaluation team – one of six teams embedded across the Strategy, Planning and Development Service Area. This role has three key areas of responsibility:

  • Advocacy– develop evidence based and innovative advocacy and social policy solutions that align with EACH’s priorities and core objectives.
  • Catchment planning – support a catchment wide approach to planning and service delivery for the alcohol & other drug (AOD) and mental health providers of the Eastern Metropolitan region.
  • Special projects – support the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of advocacy and research based organisation strategic projects, in line with project management methodologies.

To be successful in the role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications with a demonstrated understanding and/or experience in advocacy and social policy. You will have well-developed analytical and collaboration skills along with the ability to project manage and present high-quality written and verbal information to stakeholder groups.

Applicants must address the Key Selection Criteria. The successful applicant must be willing to undergo a National Police Check prior to commencement to be considered for the role.
