Our Alumni and Engagement team helps encourage the involvement of alumni and friends in Sydney and around the world in the life of UNSW. Our Operations Team ensures that all UNSW donors, alumni and friends receive a consistent and high standard of service.

The Opportunity
The 2025 Strategy is the driver to advancing UNSW’s ambitious philanthropic goal to build a world-class development and engagement team organisation. Beginning with the appointment of a new Vice-President, Philanthropy in February 2016, we are significantly expanding our team to include new positions across the Division of Philanthropy.
UNSW Sydney is recruiting for a Development Officer, Law Faculty with an entrepreneurial approach who will proactively support the development team to build UNSW’s fundraising program. You will implement strategies to achieve significant philanthropic revenue targets, as well as manage a personal portfolio of approximately 100 prospects. Significant responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with development colleagues and academic leaders to identify projects that require philanthropic support
- Build and manage a personal portfolio of prospects, and develop meaningful relationships with those individuals
- Prepare proposals, solicitation letters and other cultivation materials and stewardship plans for all prospects and donors
