The R E Ross Trust is one of the most respected philanthropic trusts in Victoria. Trust has now distributed over $100 million dollars in grants for charitable purposes and has a reputation for creativity and responsiveness to changing community needs. As the Trust nears its 50th anniversary, the Trustees are seeking a leader to drive philanthropic giving into the future, while continuing to enhance the standing of the Trust.

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible to the Trustees and provides high level advice to develop strategies that fulfil the terms of the will, and deliver on the mission of the Trust. Leading and inspiring a small team of dedicated staff, you will enable a culture of creativity and enthusiasm. Producing high quality work that advocates and demonstrates best practice philanthropy, you will build effective relationships and facilitate collaborative projects across the sector. Providing effective administrative, secretariat, governance and financial management, you will continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of systems and resources.

An experienced leader, with significant knowledge of the current trends in the philanthropic sector and the social impact investment, you will be a professional and dedicated executive. With a sound track record in building lasting and successful relationships with stakeholders, you will bring creativity and innovation to grant making. Commercially astute with strong business management experience, you will be able to think and act strategically to identify opportunities. A tertiary and / or post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline would be preferred.
