Vision Australia is a leading national provider of blindness and low vision services in Australia. We work in partnership with Australians who are blind or have low vision to help them achieve the possibilities they choose in life.
We support more than 27,500 people of all ages and life stages, and circumstances. We do this through 28 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; 30 clinics; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Donor Retention and Digital Fundraising Officer to join our team in Enfield. This role can be performed in a permanent part time capacity.
As a Donor Retention and Digital Fundraising Officer at Vision Australia you will:
Create and manage email marketing and tactical strategies that will raise the level of supporter communication and retention across all our key programmes and events.
Manage our retention program including building, scheduling, testing and deployment of one-off, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven supporter email marketing campaigns. This includes the regular review of reoccurring and triggered emails once our marketing automation platform is implemented.
Develop, execute and manage the online fundraising strategy, ensuring that digital marketing and social media is producing a growth in fundraising.
Work in cooperation with the Direct Marketing Officers to strengthen and optimise our electronic direct mail (EDM) strategy and report on results
To be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant experience in fundraising, marketing, communications or related field.
Proven experience with email marketing, marketing automation, website content management and web analytics
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively listen, negotiate and show diplomacy
Good organisational and time-management skills including the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
An excellent team player, displaying initiative, creativity and enormous drive to attain and exceed budget
Showing positive attitude in the workplace especially when faced with challenges
