ICTV is a not-for-profit organisation and television service delivering cultural and community video content to remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities around Australia.
ICTV enables the sharing of cultural stories, song and dance, language and essential information through two accessible platforms – our television service on Channel 601 VAST and Channel 41 in Alice Springs, Broome and Roebourne; and ICTV PLAY, our video on-demand service (www.ictv.com.au).
ICTV also produces and supports the production of video content in remote communities.
Our content is created for and by Indigenous Australians in remote communities.
About the role
ICTV needs the assistance of someone with good business skills to help us create business models for two great opportunities: a viable community television studio; and a television production unit. The business concept could be combined. An understanding of the screen industry and technology would be helpful.
