Chair – Board of Directors

The board of OC Connections is seeking a new board chair to help guide the organisation in its next steps to be a provider of choice to people living with disability, with a focus on people with intellectual disability. An exciting opportunity presents itself for a suitably qualified individual to lead the board as it continues to implement the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Along with the requisite skills and experience, preference will be given to candidates who contribute to improving diversity of the board and those who can demonstrate:

• knowledge of the disability services sector, including stakeholder and community environment
• formal governance experience, GAICD preferred.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the role, and be in a position to allocate time, capacity and enthusiasm to the position with flexibility to meet various and changeable commitments. Candidates must also be committed to making a difference to improving the lives and opportunities for people living with disabilities.
