Founded in 1974, Dying With Dignity Victoria Inc. (DWDV), formerly the Voluntary Euthanasia Society of Victoria Inc., is a law reform and education organisation pursuing public policies and laws in the state of Victoria which enhance self-determination and dignity at the end-of-life. DWDV operates as a membership-based not-for-profit organisation, relying on the strength of our membership to support our efforts.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity available for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who wants to contribute their skills to help Dying With Dignity Victoria (DWDV) do its important work of advancing and supporting choice at the end of life.
This position is a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension. For the right candidate we are able to offer flexibility in working hours.
Reporting to the Executive Officer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of DWDV’s suite of communication strategies, including digital and social media and member e-communications. You will also contribute to public campaigns, educational and event promotions, media relations and stakeholder engagement.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience working in a similar role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will enjoy making a contribution as part of a team, demonstrate initiative, as well as a high degree of professionalism in your work. You will also have strong attention to detail, well developed communication skills, and ability to work well with a diverse range of stakeholders.
