About the Role
Our State Managers are responsible for holding our teams together and representing Raise across State areas. We are looking for a State Manager in NSW based in our Sydney office in Mosman, and a State Manager in VIC based in our Melbourne office in North Carlton.
The main role is to manage our program teams who are delivering our best practice mentoring programs in high schools and in the community, but you will also be putting on all of the Raise hats and supporting with Evaluation, Marketing, Partnerships, Training, Volunteer Engagement, and Human Resources tasks for your State.
Think of this as a General Manager position for someone who is an inclusive leader and great people manager, passionate about ensuring our programs are operating effectively, and capable of presenting Raise to corporate, community and education partners.
It’s important that you have outstanding program and people management skills and experience.
This role is 20 hours per week for 40 weeks pa in Melbourne, and 30 hours per week for 40 weeks pa in Sydney.

We are impacting the wellbeing of young people by providing best practice youth mentoring programs in high schools and in the community. Raise supports 1,000 young people and their mentors every year, and we are looking for someone to help us grow our presence across Australia to a large scale.
