About the role

The Relationship Specialist (Gifts in Wills) position is responsible for managing the confirmed bequestor strategy to maintain and grow Gifts in Wills fundraising. This position holds accountability for ensuring that plans are implemented and outcomes are achieved through the multichannel bequestor journey which encompasses events, telemarketing, mail and visits. You will also manage the rebranding and delivery of the bequest foundation journey, and be a key events spokesperson.

Other accountabilities include (but are not limited to): regularly monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the journey pipeline and maintenance; working together with other fundraising and marketing professionals to harness engagement and opportunities; and developing team members.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and experienced Gift in Wills fundraising and/or supporter relationship management engagement professional, with at least 2 years’ experience and with proven success in delivering engagement and retention strategies; be a warm and engaging presenter; be a team player, and dynamic self-starter with program management and project management experience; have strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders; possess a positive attitude, be outcomes driven with the desire to exceed expectations and continually improve established processes; and ideally you will possess a tertiary degree in marketing, communications or similar, and have completed the FIA Code of Conduct.

This position does involve travel, as our events are delivered across NSW and the ACT. This opportunity may suit someone looking to step up and manage a small team (1 direct report).
