About the opportunity
The Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring all children and families attending the service are provided with a safe, stimulating and supportive environment. The position will include supervision and assistance to the other Early years educators within the service to ensure practices and processes are consistent with regulatory compliance. The Balmoral Early Learning Centre has been operating for over 10 years and is a single room services catering for up to 19 children per day and is the same building as the Balmoral Bush Nursing Centre. Uniting’s rural childcare services, due to their small licensed numbers, allow for more meaningful relationships with the children and families allowing you to become an integral part of each community.
About you
You will be required to hold a minimum Diploma of Children’s Service.
You will also be required to have a sound discipline knowledge, including the underlying principles of Early Years, gained through experience, education and /or training.
You will be required to have a strong knowledge of the statutory requirements related to Early Years and a demonstrated ability to plan, work and manage time effectively without direct supervision.
