General Manager, Queensland Service Delivery

Our client is a leading independent not-for-profit organisation which works to enhance mental health and well-being by providing tailored support to people living with mental illness and disability.
  
Reporting to the Chief Executive and as a member of the executive leadership team, the position of General Manager Service Delivery QLD provides strategic leadership to the Service Delivery teams ensuring operational alignment to the strategy, purpose and values of this community focused organisation.
  
This position directly impacts the organisation’s ongoing sustainability by providing leadership in sustainable business growth, continuous improvement of services and driving consistent high standards of service delivery.
  
The role is primarily Brisbane based and manages the current services within Queensland encompassing Brisbane Metro South, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg and Townsville. 
  
To be successful you will be a values-driven leader with significant experience in safety excellence, governance, quality, compliance and commitment to a person-centred service delivery models.  You will demonstrate an ability to coordinate projects and delegate activities to meet outcomes within required timeframes. You achieve solutions for complex problems and are able to analyse productivity trends or data to drive decision making. 
  
You have sound financial management skills and knowledge of NDIS and Mental Health Sector reforms impacting the non-government sector.  You have a sound understanding of funding and government policy relevant to the disability and community mental health sectors.  Paramount is your ability to mentor your team leaders to manage and monitor operational budgets and expenditure in a cost-effective manner, balancing financial and social outcomes.
  
You will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline including Business, Community or Social Service.  You hold and maintain a current Working with Children Bluecard and meet disability screening check requirements.
  
Experience in a multi-site leadership operational role with a focus on profitability, quality management frameworks, safety leadership and customer service excellence is ideal.
