About the role

This newly created Marketing Director position, reporting to our Chief Executive Officer, will lead, develop and successfully implement Raise Foundation’s marketing, brand and communications strategy, ensuring alignment to our ambitious business growth strategy and objectives.

Leading a cross- functional marketing team you will:

  • Provide thought leadership, industry knowledge and expertise to prepare and manage the quarterly and annual marketing strategy and budget;
  • Contribute to executive leadership and Board discussions on quarterly and annual strategic plans and achievement against the organisation’s KPIs and budgets;
  • Lead, develop and oversee the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns to engage, acquire and maintain Raise Foundation’s core customers (i.e. donors, schools and volunteers);
  • Ensure the Raise brand is well positioned and consistent across all marketing channels, particularly digital marketing channels;
  • Regularly report and present on the success of marketing campaigns and communication strategies to the executive leadership team and Board;
  • Optimise Raise Foundation’s paid and earned media reach and CPM through data driven insights;
  • Establish and manage relationships with major paid and pro-bono third-party agencies, internal and external stakeholders
  • Be an energizing, motivating people leader to a multi-disciplinary team with expertise across PR / communications, campaigns, digital marketing, content and brand.

About You

You will be an experienced Marketing Director, ideally within the Not for Profit sector, with a proven track record of implementing integrated marketing campaigns to attract both donors and volunteers.

You will demonstrate strong financial acumen and industry knowledge, having had prior experience applying this to business strategy and budgets with executive leadership teams and Boards.

In addition you will have:

  • A proven track record of developing and implementing transformational digital marketing strategies;
  • Relevant Degree qualifications in marketing, business or commerce;
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office365, CRMs such as Salesforce and digital marketing platforms such as Pardot Growth
  • Broad experience in marketing and communications roles including campaign management, PR / communications, brand management and digital marketing (website, EDMs and social media);
  • Excellent project management, analytical and reporting skills;
  • An exceptional ability to engage, motivate and manage a team. You must be an inclusive leader and a strong people manager with outstanding interpersonal relationship skills.
