The Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria Inc. (ECCV) represents the voices of multicultural Victoria. We are a community based, member driven peak body for ethnic and multicultural organisations committed to strengthening and building our community through advocacy and leadership, empowering people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

About the role
An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Membership & Communications Manager to lead a key portfolio for the ECCV, driving the organisation’s engagement with members and potential members, and effectively communicating ECCV’s policy and advocacy priorities as a sector peak for multicultural Victoria.
Reporting to the Executive Officer and guided by the Board’s strategic priorities, the position produces and oversees the development of content for a wide range of internal and external platforms, oversees the administration and enhancement of ECCV’s CRM, and serves as the ECCV’s primary media liaison.
An integral member of the management team, the Membership & Communications Manager works closely with other operational leaders to ensure ECCV remains at the centre of dialogue in Victoria regarding the needs and aspirations of multicultural communities. The role is responsible for staff supervision and the development of key strategic frameworks that best support the ECCV in its communications, media and member engagement work.
The position is 0.8FTE and remunerated at Level 7 of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.
