About the role
Children’s Cancer Institute has seen significant progress and success in striving to achieve its mission of Zero Childhood Cancer. With its established track record in world-leading medical research into new, improved treatments for childhood cancer, it is now at a pivotal point of growth as it looks to open Australia’s first Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre as part of the Randwick Health and Innovation Precinct.
The Centre provides a significant platform for increasing philanthropic funding to the Institute and as a result, Children’s Cancer Institute now seeks a Capital Campaign Manager who will manage the delivery of the campaign to drive fundraising for the Cancer Centre. This will involve collaborating with the Chief Marketing & Fundraising Officer on the campaign strategy and taking responsibility for all facets of the campaign, with a goal of $25m by 2025.
You will be an experienced fundraising professional ideally with both campaign and major gift fundraising experience with the ability to operate at a strategic and operational level. With an entrepreneurial approach, and a high level of agility and flexibility, the successful candidate will possess superior negotiation and communication skills with the ability to manage complex internal and external stakeholder relationships and partnerships.
