About the role

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) who will be responsible for the attainment of new B2B clients and partnerships within the region; across the lottery, not-for-profit and commercial sectors. 

Joining a supportive, high-performance culture, ideally you will:

  • Be comfortable working with technology solutions;
  • Have confidence in managing the client and partner opportunity pipeline; from lead to agreement, including proposal development, pitch delivery, and negotiation of commercial terms; 
  • Have the ability to interpret and assess client feedback and localised market trends, to support the development of future product and service strategy; 
  • Come with a strong NFP network or have familiarity working within NFPs;
  • Have the ability to demonstrate your experience in building value through business development activities; 
  • Be proactive in managing client activities and relationship strategies within our Salesforce database CRM; and
  • Have 3-5 years of experience working in a business development management role.  

Who are your major stakeholders?
Internally you will be reporting to the General Manager, within the commercial team. On a regular basis, you will interact with the Business Managers for Oz Lotteries and Managed Services, as well as engage with the B2B Marketing, and Product teams.

Externally, you will be comfortable engaging with existing and prospective clients within the NFP and lottery sectors, across the Australia and Pacific region. You will also engage with industry bodies, including the Fundraising Institute of Australia, the Asia-Pacific Lottery Association.
