The Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) is looking for an experienced, diligent and energetic professional to manage and support RIAA’s growing Certification Program.

As a member of a dynamic team, this position is a great opportunity to be an integral player in ensuring RIAA delivers on its product certification and ratings goals and strategies, which is central to its vision. RIAA works to promote, advocate for, and support approaches to responsible investment that align capital with achieving a healthy and sustainable society, environment and economy. The RIAA Certification and Ratings Team meets the market and member demand directed towards certified responsible investment products and advice.

You shall work closely with the Head, Certification and Ratings, Administration Officer- Certification Program, the Certification Program Team and other RIAA team members. You will be a key member of the Certifications and Ratings Team with management responsibility for assessing financial products and Financial Advisers against the Responsible Investment Standard and submit to Certification Assessment Panels for approval.

The ideal candidate has a passion for financial analysis of products and services that supports moving the market towards responsible investment and finance that delivers real sustainability outcomes.  You thrive in a complex and fast moving organisational setting.  You are very organised, can manage multiple functions, tasks and projects simultaneously, are outcomes-focused and have a remarkable ability to get things done. You are always looking for ways to improve the certification process, systems and experience.  

You will have expertise in:

  • the Responsible investment industry including current trends and challenges
  • synthesising public facing collateral, for example, Public Disclosure Statements, Information Memorandums, Stewardship reports and corporate websites

You will demonstrate an:

  • Impeccable track record as a financial analyst
  • Exceptional teamwork and commitment to respectful and inclusive work culture
  • Interest in responsible investment
