About the organisation
Mayers Recruitment are pleased to be assisting Sparkways (formerly known as TRY Australia) to recruit a new Board Chair to take over the position when the current Chair steps down after five years. This vital organisation that has been supporting children, young people and families all across Victoria since 1883, is a social enterprise working alongside communities to ensure every child and young person is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
About the role
The new Board Chair should be motivated by the stimulation of the role, the values of the organisation and be passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people. You will need relevant corporate governance knowledge and experience with strong commercial acumen, and ensure statutory obligations are maintained. This is a voluntary position and is not remunerated.
