About the role
Building on an already strong foundation, the Head of Philanthropy will be responsible for implementing a philanthropic strategy and operational plan to build investment and deliver income targets. Building strong working relationships and credibility within the School community and working in consultation with the Principal, this role will drive all aspects of the School’s fundraising initiatives including major gift fundraising, Old Scholar engagement and the giving program. This role is also responsible for establishing and managing effective systems and processes to underpin these activities, facilitating long-term sustainable relationships.
The successful candidate will bring proven success working in a similar environment and will have a strong track record nurturing a culture of philanthropy and leading a small team. Demonstrated success raising funds from a variety of sources including individuals, trusts and foundations and annual giving programs is essential, as is a genuine passion and commitment for girls’ education.
