About the role

The PR and Ambassador Executive works closely with the wider Marketing & Communications team across all aspects of our PR and Ambassador activities. This is a 12-month opportunity and we’re open to candidates from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
- Assist in the development and execution of PR, Ambassador and Influencer strategies, that support Starlight’s organisational priorities inc. major fundraising campaigns, events, brand, thought leadership & special events.
- Work closely with Starlight families, to support them in sharing their inspiring stories.
- Manage Starlight’s ambassador program requirements including relationship management with ambassadors and their agents.
- Collate results & insights to measure and enhance activity performance
About you
The successful candidate will be positive, passionate & be able to demonstrate:
- Comprehensive media connections & understanding of the media landscape
- An ability to establish & maintain strong relationships with ambassadors, influencers and agents
- Being an innovative, creative thinker and storyteller; able to identify and leverage opportunities as they arise
- A flexible and adaptable collaborative work style with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong project management skills & being able to juggle multiple projects & priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with sensitivity, diplomacy and discretion
