Are you looking to use your events and fundraising administration experience for an inspiring, values-led, and impact driven not-for-profit?

Reporting to the Director, Philanthropy and Partnerships and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Partnerships and Events Officer role offers you the chance to work collaboratively across teams in support of SVA’s philanthropic fundraising. You get to improve systems and processes, be innovative and support the team across a variety of fundraising campaigns, events and initiatives.

The role would suit a dynamic, professional fundraising administrator with events coordination experience (previous not-for-profit experience preferred), who thrives in working in a changing environment.

This is a wonderful opportunity to build your experience whilst supporting the Fundraising and Partnerships team’s efforts in driving engagement and financial support for SVA’s diverse programs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fundraising Events and Donor Administration
    • Coordinate and support fundraising events with partnerships and the marketing team.
    • Collate guestlists, secure and manage venue, assisting with in person and online events using Salesforce, Raisely, Campaign Monitor and MS Tools
    • Support and steward funders (trusts and foundation, high net worth individuals, donors and corporates)
  • Ensure fundraising team activities are system orientated, structured and follow policies. 
  • Provide team administration support, coordinating Director’s schedule, acting as a liaison. 
  • Expense management, organising weekly catch ups and providing calendar management.
  • Provide business support to the business development and leadership meetings.
  • Pull reports and data, supporting Director with data analysis.
  • Act as point of contact for cross- SVA activities.

 

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Proven experience prioritising administrative duties and managing multiple projects and conflicting demands  (with a preference for fundraising in a not for profit environment)
  • Proven experience in events administration/coordination
  • Experience in diary and email management (expenses, processing invoices)
  • Prior experience in developing sales collateral (presentations, proposals, cases for support)
  • Experience with extracting, analysing and interpreting Salesforce data (or experience with sales pipeline data) and advantage.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and dynamic with ability to improve systems and process.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Campaign Monitor (or other databases/ email campaign software) desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, predominantly Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Positive can-do attitude with strong work ethic and ability to operate well in a collaborative fast paced environment.
