About the organisation
Kadimah Jewish Cultural Centre and National Library is a vibrant, energetic and active cultural organisation, championing Yiddish language and Jewish culture since 1911. Its activities include Yiddish language and conversation classes, Kadimah Yiddish Theatre productions, community theatre and cabarets, concerts, literary events, comedy nights, and youth drama classes. It is home to Australia’s largest Yiddish library and also presents the Melbourne Jewish Food Festival and the annual In One Voice Jewish Culture Festival (with SKIF).
About the role

- Develop strategies and systems to enhance services and performance
Reporting to the Board, you will be a team and systems-orientated person, with sound financial skills and an entrepreneurial flair. You’ll be responsible for the smooth operation and sustainable growth of Kadimah, and work alongside the Arts & Cultural Manager to proactively develop and grow operational revenue streams.
Key responsibilities embrace supporting the Board, Finance & Administration, Stakeholder Management, Fundraising and People Management. For this important leadership role, you’ll need proven experience as a business manager, experience motivating a small team, and an understanding of community engagement, the NFP sector and its funding.
